Andy Carolin is an associate professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Johannesburg. His research focuses on race, gender and sexuality in South African literature and film. He is the author of a monograph titled Post-Apartheid Same-Sex Sexualities: Restless Identities in Literary and Visual Culture (2021, Routledge).
