Bovinille Anye Cho
Cameroon & Stellenbosch University, 2017 Bovinille (Bovi) holds a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Manchester (UoM), United Kingdom with over 11 original publications within the timely duration of 3 years. His research strives to resolve the critical challenges arising from the design, optimisation, control, and scale-up of advanced industrial bioreaction systems and technologies. Bovi’s pioneering research was awarded the 2021 Research Impact Awards: - annual topical prize for climate change related research. Also, he is a recipient of the prestigious Commonwealth PhD Scholarship (class of 2019) and Mandela Rhodes Scholarships (class of 2017), as well as an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry. Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher at UoM focusing on the mechanistic modelling of an Algae-based carbon capture technology. As well, he is the computational scientist for Animal Alternative Technologies focusing on the development of advanced bioprocess models for culture meat applications.
