Emmanuel Valentine

Emmanuel's passion for agriculture led him to become the first student to graduate with First Class Honors from the Department of Crop Science at Kogi State University in Nigeria.

He believes that modern agricultural production integrated with technology can significantly contribute to achieving food security in Africa.

Emmanel has been involved in improving agricultural productivity for smallholder farmers in Northern Nigeria through his work at Babban Gona Farmer Services.

His passion for integrating agriculture with technology made him pursue several certifications, including Google Project Management, Product Analytics Certification, and the McKinsey Forward Program.

These experiences enabled him to transition into software product management.

He is the founder of "Farm4Us," a platform dedicated to providing agricultural extension services to farmers.

He is also a researcher focusing on achieving a circular nutrient economy in agriculture by recovering and reusing nutrients from different waste streams in agriculture.

His academic awards include Academic Excellence from the Kogi State Government & Igala Education Foundation, Best Performing Student from the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), and Most Innovative Student from the Faculty of Agriculture, Kogi State University.

Beyond his academic and professional endeavours, he is also an entertainer, comedian, and emcee.
