Esther Ndunge
Kenya & University of Pretoria, 2025 Esther holds a Bachelor of Science (Communication and Public Relations) degree from Moi University in Kenya where she was awarded the best student for class of 2023. She enjoys singing, song writing and playing the guitar. In her first album ‘INUKA’ (RISE) released early in 2023, she encourages people to emanate from difficult situations in life. In 2022, she published her first book titled ‘Break the Silence’ where she narrates her healing journey as a rape survivor and her struggle with addictions. She advocates greatly for mental health awareness in all her social media platforms and constantly reminds everyone to be kind in their speech, mannerism and actions. Her Esther Ndunge Foundation has greatly impacted the lives of slum communities in Mathare, Mukuru and Korogocho in Kenya. As a Mandela Rhodes Scholar, Esther will pursue a master’s in international relations. She believes that everyone deserves a chance to be well represented in a world of diversity. She desires to reach more African communities through her foundation and make noteworthy change in their lives.
