Gerald Ndungu

Kenya & University of Cape Town, 2025

After completing his bachelor's degree in computer science at African Leadership University Rwanda, Gerald joined Bridge2Rwanda as a senior college counsellor for Programming & Innovation, where he has made significant contributions to college access programs for high-achieving, low-income students.

Gerald is a Kenyan born education access strategist, pathways designer, and advocate for refugee rights who has dedicated his career to creating pathways for marginalized communities through education.

Gerald founded BetterMan Collective, an organization addressing men's mental health and gender roles. He has organized men’s mental health sessions and extended support to vulnerable LGBTQ youth at Kakuma Refugee Camp, facilitating access to higher education and safer futures.
