Konneh is a graduate of the African Leadership University in Kigali, Rwanda, where he pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in International Business and Trade and served as President of the Rotaract Club of ALU. Ismail is passionate about social impact and community development through social entrepreneurship. This passion led him to create an entrepreneurial tech hub that advantages digital solutions to capture value for individuals' micro and small enterprises in vulnerable communities, thereby making a contribution to improved business education, job creation, poverty eradication, and gender inequality, specifically in the business sector. He has already started pursuing this passion, as he led the Women in Entrepreneurship (WIE) project during his tenure as the President of the Rotaract Club of ALU, empowering 60 women living with physical disabilities with entrepreneurial skills through training and funding their ventures, enabling them to improve their socio-economic conditions. He is also currently developing a venture that has the potential to promote digital solutions and empower over 1 million young people and vulnerable people in Liberia by 2050, focusing on leadership development, business education, job creation, poverty eradication, and gender equality. As a Mandela Rhodes Scholar, Ismail aspires to pursue a Master of Management in Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation (NVC) to drive entrepreneurship in Liberia, Africa and worldwide in vulnerable communities as he believes that everyone deserves equal opportunities regardless of gender, humanitarian status, financial background, or disabilities.
