Jamada Kalinda

Uganda & University of Cape Town, 2025

Jamada is a Lawyer and Youth Advocate raised in Kampala Uganda. He graduated from Makerere University with a Bachelor of Laws degree.

Jamada has volunteered as a UNICEF U-Report Youth Advocate for Quality Education and Meaningful Participation of young people in governance.

He has also served on the Amnesty International Youth Advisory Board and was a Volunteer Youth ambassador of the International Society for Human Rights.

He has worked as a Communication Contractor for Action in Africa, a Charity organisation that provides free education and social services for low-income families in his home village Nankuwadde.

He has also worked as a policy consultant and advised the parliament of Uganda on legislations like the Assisted Reproductive Technology Bill.

He is passionate about International Law, and social economic human rights law and has written multiple publications in national newspapers, research, and blogs on those topics.
