Jofrey is a Tanzanian medical doctor and a digital health enthusiast, he completed his bachelor's degree of Doctor of Medicine at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) where he developed interest in Public Health, Digital Health, and Innovation.

Since 2021, Jofrey has gained experience in public health projects covering HIV/AIDS, non – communicable diseases, mental health and Sexual and Reproductive Health through Afyatoon, a health start-up that utilizes 3D animations, illustrations, telemedicine, and visual arts to create engaging and accessible health education content and quality health services.

Jofrey has a keen interest in data, visual arts, and artificial intelligence. His diverse interests contribute to his innovative approach to digital health and his commitment to improving healthcare access and outcomes.

He envisions connecting art, science, and technology to bring on collective digital health solution for common public health issues facing Africa.
