Mark John Burke
South Africa & University of Cape Town, 2012 Mark completed his PhD at Cambridge University on a Shaun Johnson Memorial Scholarship. He started a money transfer service for expatriate South Africans like himself (ExpandRand) and later cofounded a fintech company focussed on financial inclusion (Kastelo). He is settled into married life with his wife - Dr Talia Simone da Silva Burke.
