Mercy Musyoka

Mercy holds an Honours degree in Gender and Development Studies from Egerton University in Kenya.

She was named a 2024 Leaders of Leaders Africa Fellow, The Leaders of Leaders Fellowship (LOLA Fellowship) is a leadership accelerator championed by the Bluvard Education Initiative designed to equip young aspiring African dreamers and doers with the skills and knowledge they need to become enablers of change in their communities.

Mercy believes development is not just economic growth but the removal of barriers to human potential.

A passionate advocate for gender equality and social justice, Mercy worked with Gender Equity and Reconciliation International (GERI) to dismantle barriers and foster gender reconciliation.

Mercy also volunteered with Volunteer Action for Change Kenya (VACK), contributing to youth capacity-building initiatives in collaboration with the European Union and Erasmus+.

She played a vital role in developing the Period Empowerment Handbook, an essential resource that promotes menstrual health through the Period Empowerment Network (PEN).
