Munaka Tshilidzi Munyai completed her Bachelor of Arts and Postgraduate Certificate in Education at the University of Cape Town. She is a fellow of the prestigious Jakes Gerwel Fellowship that selects, supports, and develops high-impact educational practitioners, entrepreneurs, and leaders.

Throughout her life, she has displayed a vested interest in education, arts, and culture.
