Onaopemipo Adeoye
Nigeria & University of Johannesburg, 2025 Onaopemipo holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Abuja, Nigeria. He is passionate about sustainable infrastructure and structural engineering, with a focus on using innovative, recycled materials in post-conflict and resettled zones. Growing up in a resource-constrained public school, he developed a strong resolve to change the narrative for regions like his, where basic infrastructure and social amenities were lacking. He has co-authored research on cultural sustainability and eco-friendly rehabilitation infrastructure, which he has presented at international conferences. He has led various community-driven initiatives, including zero hunger and quality education programs for internally displaced persons, orphans, and rural communities.
