Tendai is a Civil and Environmental Engineering graduate from the University of Zambia.

Originally drawn engineering to pioneer sustainable and affordable public housing in Zambia, her journey led her to the intersection of data and entrepreneurship, where she is committed to fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Africa.

She co-founded Sangalala Cake House, a creative enterprise that sparked her passion for business and problem-solving. Realizing the challenges small businesses face, she pursued further opportunities in strategy and investment analysis.

Her role as an Investment Analyst allowed her to help shape the innovation strategy of Zambia’s largest financial services provider, where she used data to inform key decisions.

Her current focus lies in harnessing data to drive social impact and entrepreneurial success across Africa.

She is actively involved with organisations such as AfriHer, Bloomers Community and the Global Shapers Community all dedicated to empowering young people to become leaders and agents of positive change within their communities.
