Yunga Onorine Anwi is a feminist and a youth activist with a specific focus on girls’ education, agriculture, and sexual reproductive health and rights. She is presently the founder of Women Corner: a local-based community organization that focuses on creating awareness and supporting community structures and school systems on how to manage and provide adequate resources to the girl child during menstruation. She also doubles as the founder and CEO of Agro-Venture, an Enterprise that fights to eliminate youth unemployment and poverty.
In 2017, Yunga was selected to participate in the highly-rated Young African Leadership Initiative fellowship in Accra, Ghana. Later in 2018, she also won the prestigious Tony Elumelo Entrepreneurship Award; and in early 2019, she was selected for the ultimate African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative. Yunga holds a Bachelors of Science in Political Science from the University of Buea-Cameroon. She is driven by her commitment to women and youth empowerment.
