Kamogelo Ntsoeng
South Africa & North-West University, 2024 Kamogelo is an African scholar, dreamer, and multipotentialite. She has a BA in Psychology and Philosophy from the North-West University, Potchefstroom, where she will also be studying towards her Honours degree in Philosophy in 2024. Kamogelo has a keen interest in African philosophy, revolutionary politics and capturing the stories of Africa and her people. At the North-West University, she is a student assistant in the School of Philosophy, and the founder and chairperson of the NWU Human, Social and Political Sciences Society – a society which creates various spaces around the university for debate, conversation, and community. This has also allowed her to become actively involved in leadership and transformation around her campus. Throughout her life, Kamogelo has been drawn to spaces which are driven by radical hope, courage, and a pursuit for liberation for all. She has been actively involved in youth policy making since her early years in high school, which she has since continued into university. Inspired by these values and spaces, Kamogelo actively pursues spaces which allow her to make an impact and better understand herself and the world, both around and beyond her. She also enjoys writing, reading, painting, videography, and photography. And as an avid sports fan, she spends a lot of time in the gym, drawing inspiration from her favourite athletes, while her massive love for music has led her to being the self-appointed DJ of her friend group. She is a deeply curious individual with varying interests and hobbies, a trait which she believes has been a major driving force in her personal and intellectual pursuits.
